day 1
Paestum: between buffalo and temples
Welcome to Cilento, a land that will know how to welcome you but above all, how to amaze you.
Your experience begins in Paestum, with a real treasure of Italian gastronomy: buffalo mozzarella; a unique product, made using a lengthy and meticulous process of artisan milk processing.
Immersed in the colours, sounds and scents of the Cilento inland, you will visit a famous organic farm specialising in buffalo farming and dairy production.
You will walk among hundreds of well-kept buffaloes and see stables and cutting-edge milking techniques; before participating in a rich tasting tour of the company’s products accompanied by simple but genuine dishes.
Your trip will continue with the Archaeological Park of Paestum, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, where you will admire some of the best preserved temples of Magna Graecia; and with the very interesting National Archaeological Museum where the famous Tomb of the Diver is housed.

day 2
From Agropoli to Castellabate
Agropoli is one of the largest and most famous cities in Cilento, much appreciated for the sea and the characteristic medieval old town with its imposing castle overlooking the sea.
You can take a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of the centre or visit the lively marina; browse the walls of the famous Angevin-Aragonese Castle and from there, enjoy a splendid glimpse of the surrounding landscape.
Then you get to experience the tastiest time of the day, a visit to a local winery where you can walk through the vineyards to learn more about the world of wine.
You will then get to enjoy an unmissable tasting of the farm wines, accompanied by typical local products including cheeses, cold cuts, seasonal vegetables and bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil of own production.
The best way to round up your day will be a visit to the picturesque village of Castellabate, made famous by the film “Welcome to the South”, where you can indulge in the slow pace of village life, between narrow streets and charming squares, in between an aperitif and a good coffee.
And at sunset… you can’t miss the spectacular view from the Belvedere of San Costabile.

day 3
Cilento oil: the protagonist of the Mediterranean Diet
This land is also the home of the Mediterranean Diet, born from an idea devised by the American Ancel Keys who lived and studied from the area.
Bread, pasta, fruit, vegetables, legumes, fresh fish and a little meat are the cornerstones of this gastronomic philosophy, of which extra virgin olive oil is certainly the undisputed protagonist.
You are in Ascea, in the heart of the Cilent National Park or, a short distance from the Archaeological Site of Elea-Velia, home of the philosopher Parmenides and his disciple Zeno; where you will embark on a delightful journey to discover the exceptional Cilento extra virgin olive oil, with an interesting visit to a splendid estate specialising in the cultivation, harvesting and processing of olives.
You will have fun learning all about the history of the territory and of the king of condiments; get to know the specific technique of cold extraction, walk among splendid centuries-old olive trees and taste the delicious extra virgin olive oil.
You will then stop off at the romantic seaside village of Acciaroli, where you can relax in the narrow streets, squares and shops of the pretty old town or in the picturesque marina, before settling down at a local restaurant for a tasty dinner feasting on local products.

day 4
Day off
Get ready to spend a day entirely dedicated to relaxation, perhaps alternating refreshing dips in some of the most beautiful beaches of Cilento, with adventurous boat trips to admire the coast between beautiful caves and hidden bays, such as the beautiful Blue Grotto and the unspoilt Bay of Good Sleep in Palinuro.

day 5
Discovering white figs
Once you arrive in the small village of Prignano Cilento, your experience of discovering the precious white fig of Cilento will begin with a tasty visit to a well-known local company.
Inside a panoramic structure with refined and suggestive architecture, you will take part in an innovative tasting, starting from the elegant garden to demonstrate the sun drying techniques for figs, after which you will take a trip around the scenic tasting tables, to test in person just how good this exclusive product is: dried or in jam, stuffed with almonds or nuts, with citrus peel or chocolate, it will be a taste explosion!

day 6

Your tasty experience ends today, but the memory of the emotions felt in Cilento will stay with you forever!
