Characteristic streets, unique natural beauties and breath-taking views, days on the boat and shopping in the most exclusive boutiques, jewellers and craft shops in the company of a professional personal shopper; those are the main ingredients for this fascinating and enlightening experience during which you will feel just like a VIP from the 60s while on board a beautiful vintage car discovering these unique places in the world.

Capri and the Amalfi Coast are ready to welcome you!

day 1

Welcome to Capri

Your arrival on the island of Capri is the ideal starting point to being transported into a dimension of pure beauty; a concentration of unique landscape wonders, elegant restaurants, trendy clubs, luxury hotels and famous designer boutiques, which with its whitewashed houses and characteristic pedestrian streets, seems more like a film set than a real place.

It was exactly here that the legendary “dolce vita” was born in the 1960s with the first paparazzi that set out to photograph the stars of the international jet-set arriving on holiday on the island such as Brigitte Bardot, Liz Taylor, Richard Burton, Sophia Loren, Clarke Gable, Audrey Hepburn and many others.

Captured by the incredible atmosphere of the “Capri dolce vita” you can take a leisurely stroll through the famous “Piazzetta” and the lively alleys that characterise the historic centre.

Then, aboard a roaring vintage cabriolet car and with the sea breeze caressing your face, you will take a ride to Anacapri, on the highest reaches of the island , where you will be able to browse among the artisan workshops in the city centre, who have been making the famous Capri sandals for years; you will then make your way over to the beautiful Villa San Michele where you will no doubt be left speechless at the sight of one of the most evocative views of the island.

Did you know that if you caress the sphinx that is in the garden of the villa while making a wish… the wish will sooner or later come true? It doesn’t hurt to try!

Finally, if you want, you can opt for a taster of the delicious Capri cuisine with a romantic dinner under a fragrant lemon pergola in one of the most famous and exclusive restaurants on Capri.

day 2

Private Gozzo Boat Tour of the Island

Prepare to spend a dream day on the waters of Capri in complete tranquillity, without any rush or having to stick to tight itineraries, away from the crowds and the confusion of the historic centre, discovering places that you can only reach by sea such as coves, bays and the famous caves with their spectacular games of light and colours.

On board a characteristic wooden gozzo boat and in the company of a friendly skipper, you will sail to the famous Blue Grotto, where you can fit into by lying down on the small wooden boats with the skilled local boatmen who with a little paddling and a little clinging to the rock, will make it possible for you to experience this magical place.

Then, while the crew show you the ruins of the Saracen Fortini that constituted the defensive structure of the island and some beautiful houses such as Villa Jovis, Villa Malaparte and Villa Lysis, you will discover some other beautiful caves of Capri, the evocative Natural Arch and the iconic Faraglioni rock formation.

Swimming in the bright blue Capri sea while snorkelling admire the backdrop; enjoy some of the wonders of the Blue Island cradled by the waves of the sea and make a toast with excellent Prosecco on this beautiful and relaxing day; it will leave you with fond memories of an experience that you will always carry in your heart!

day 3

Go shopping with a personal shopper

An exclusive day of shopping with a professional personal shopper among famous designer boutiques, elegant ateliers and the colourful craft shops of the Capri shopping triangle, which runs from the legendary “Piazzetta” to Via Camerelle and Via delle Botteghe.

In the 200 meters that separate the Piazzetta from Via Camerelle you will be amazed by what is probably the highest concentration of luxury stores in the world, where you can buy the IT bag of the moment, preview winter collections, limited edition garments from the most famous international brands and dizzyingly beautiful jewellery.

If you are passionate about Made in Capri and the iconic garments that were born on the island, your personal shopper will take you to discover (and why not, to buy) the famous Capri sandals that Jacqueline Kennedy was crazy about; a pair of completely customizable flat sandals, made in front of your eyes and tailor-made for you.

Then, between one shop window and the next the pleasant scents will start wafting your way from the numerous workshops that you will meet along the way, where you can buy captivating artisan scents that are still produced by crushing Capri flowers and herbs in alcohol.

In addition to luxury and craftsmanship, you will also have the chance to pick up something good to eat and drink like a bottle of Limoncello D.O.C made with the fragrant Capri lemons and a traditional Torta Caprese, an island delight made from cocoa and almonds that is impossible to resist.

day 4

The "Divine Coast"

This day is dedicated to a fun experience in vintage cars (a sports cabriolet, a romantic Beetle or the legendary Fiat 500) on board which you will discover the Amalfi Coast: a balcony suspended between the deep blue of the sea and the slopes of the Lattari Mountains, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

You will take a leisurely car trip along one of the most beautiful and exciting coastal roads in the world, a mix of villages, valleys, hills, coves, beaches and terraces cultivated with citrus fruits, vines and olive trees. You can stop off at one of the panoramic lay-bys along the way to take beautiful photographs and taste the delicious lemon granita that sellers offer to passers-by roadside from their quant and picturesque handcarts.

But above all you can visit some of the most beautiful and characteristic places in the area, each with its own traditions and character.

As a first stop we recommend the enchanting Positano where you can take in its fascinating worldly atmosphere among colourful houses leaning against each other, panoramic terraces, characteristic alleys and stairs, boutiques and craft shops.

From there, you can move on to Ravello, the city of music and famous for the eponymous Ravello Festival, where you can visit the famous medieval villas: Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone with its famous Infinity Terrace from where you can enjoy an unparalleled view spanning from the Cilento Coast to the beginning of the Amalfi Coast.

The perfect ending to wind the trip up is Amalfi, the oldest Italian Maritime Republic where you can browse through the lively streets of the historic centre and admire the beautiful Cathedral of Sant’Andrea that dominates the main square of the city, before reaching – at your unfettered choice – one of the most famous restaurants in the area for a gourmet dinner like no other!

day 5

Ancient Pompeii and Vesuvius

Day 5 brings yet another fun experience in vintage cars, but this time you are going to go visit the most famous archaeological site in the world, whose history is inextricably linked to the history of nearby Vesuvius whose devastating eruption made the ancient Pompeii immortal.

Guided by an expert archaeologist, you will take a real journey back in time within the Pompeii Archaeological Park declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site: a real Roman town in perfect condition, during which you will discover anecdotes and curiosities, a real insight into the life of the time.

You will walk along ancient streets such as the Via dell ‘Abondanza, stroll through the central Piazza del Foro, enter elegant residences to appreciate Roman architecture and art. You will then visit Lupanare, the oldest pleasure house in the world; take in the thermal baths, the temple of Apollo and the unmissable plaster casts of some of the victims of the eruption.

And when you start to feel peckish, you will have the chance to take part in an authentic Roman banquet in a themed restaurant with furnishings in the style of the time, reproductions of frescoes on the walls and staff dressed in the traditional toga, to taste the dishes of Ancient Rome accompanied by Mulsum, a wine widely used by the ancient Romans, obtained by mixing honey, ginger and a pinch of pepper with wine.

Finally, if you want, you can reach the top of the majestic Vesuvius to admire its ancient rocky crater and from there, enjoy a truly exceptional view of the surrounding landscape!

day 6

Day off

You have a free day to recharge your batteries, focus on relaxation and the activities you prefer.

You could try something fun such as a fun kayak outing in the company of experienced F.I.C.K. instructors (Italian kayak association), from the unique perspective of the sea, admire some of the beaches and the most beautiful villages of the Amalfi Coast, evocative sea caves, natural rocky arches and ancient watchtowers that are dotted along the entire coast.

From the ancient Maritime Republic of Amalfi, to the fishing village of Conca dei Marini; from the evocative Fjord of Furore, to the delightful village of Praiano; between one paddle and the other you can admire the best that one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the world has to offer.

Not forgetting the underlying creative verve that has led it over time to become a reference point for the fields of art, fashion, design, architecture and hi-tech.
