Lake Maggiore, Lake Como and Lake Garda welcome you in their embrace.
The lakes of Italy i.e. Garda, Como and Maggiore offer from highly prestigious properties to less sought after accommodation, but which are always perfectly integrated into the natural landscape.
Among our proposals, on Lake Como, there are stately mansions such as the precious Grand Hotel Villa d’Este in Cernobbio, unique in the world, or the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, a beautiful neoclassical villa, which became a hotel at the end of 19th century on Lake Como, or in Stresa on Lake Maggiore, a jewel of Art Nouveau, we include among our proposals the Des Illes de Borromees or the fairytale atmosphere in the Regina Palace.
Various boutiques hotels are scattered around the lakes in villages like Baveno, Belgirate, Arona, on Lake Maggiore, Tremezzo, Cadenabbia and Menaggio on Lake Como, to name just but a few.
The lake fish is the star of the cuisine in these places. We can propose menus with local produce in typical restaurants of the area along the lakes but also the islands within them. Amongst these is the example of the “Isola dei Pescatori” on Lake Maggiore.
The best way to get to know the lakes is to navigate them. There are many solutions: we can provide the connections of point to point public boat services, or the exclusivity of private boats for both groups and individual travelers, in addition to a selection of routes more suited to appreciate the scenery.
Among our proposals is a private boat ride to Bellagio, the most romantic town on the lake, discovering along the way the villas of the first basin of Lario, Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Torno and Blevio, which today belong to famous actors. Or discover Como from above, via the funicular to Brunate, a unique vantage point of the entire lake.
Take a fascinating tour of Lake Maggiore to discover the islands of Bella and Madre with the pomp of their villas and intact Italian gardens, a treasure trove of lush flora. You can take a convenient cable car from Stresa to Mottarone, (altitude 1.491 mt), from which, on a sunny day, you can see seven lakes (including Maggiore, Orta, Varese, Comabbio and Monate) and Mount Rosa.
The tour of the medieval castles of Lake Garda is an innovative itinerary: in Sirmione the Scaliger Castle, one of the best preserved in Italy, the Malcesine Castle, clinging to a rocky outcrop overlooking the lake, the Castle of Arco, with its sumptuously frescoed games salon. The Sirmione thermal baths are among the most important in Central Europe. Sulphurous waters that flow from the depths of the lake feed the Virgil and Catullus resorts, which are amongst the best-equipped spas.
In Como we can offer a special trip in the picturesque fishing village of Varenna, overlooking the lake in the direction of Bellagio, with views and unique landscapes such as waterfalls of Fiumelatte, within walking distance from the town center.
About half an hour from Stresa (Lake Maggiore), there is a tiny lake with a minuscule island. We are in Orta San Giulio, a charming old medieval gem. From the square, you embark to the island where time seems to stand still and where the silence dominates the landscape.
